IN THE BEGINNING, I WAS NERVOUS.

Let me tell you a little about myself! I started my fitness journey consistently (without the on again off again shenanigans) in January 2015 because I was at my desk job for about a year and kept gaining weight because I sat at a desk all day and then went home, ate dinner and went to sleep... every. single. night. I had always been active before but I had gotten lazy. Eventually that caught up with me and I gained a ton of weight! All I did was complain about how I looked and felt everyday but I was too lazy to do anything about it! I had never gained weight before or been that big in my life. One day I stepped on the scale and saw a new high that I've never seen before and at that moment I decided I needed to do something about it. At first I would workout in sweats because I was so embarrassed of how I looked but after continually going to the gym, I saw results and I fell in love with the lifestyle. Ever since I made that change in my life and then saw positive results, I've been in love with being able to help other people as well. I want everyone to see what this lifestyle can do for them! I went from feeling sorry for myself to feeling great about myself in anything and its such a great feeling! I am now a personal trainer and I get to help people and I cant be more excited to be doing what I love! Fitness has given me confidence and a purpose and I couldn't be more grateful!
ALL ABOUT CONFIDENCE

One thing I've ALWAYS struggled with is CONFIDENCE. When I started seeing results and following more and more fitness people on Instagram I saw girls competing and i fell in love. I wanted to compete but thought I would never be able to because I lacked that confidence and there was NO way I could walk on a stage in a BIKINI! After a few years of wanting to compete but not having the guts to do it, I finally decided I was going to do it. NO more excuses. I somehow talked my husband into doing a show with me and couldn't turn back. In 2017 I did my first NPC Bikini competition and then did another one a month later. Now I'm not going to lie, prep was soooo hard for me. I learned what a bad coach looks like and I had to push through sooooo many obstacles I would've never dreamed possible but I DID IT. I strutted on a stage in front of hundreds of people in a BIKINI! I not only conquered my fears but I also got 2nd place at both shows and got Nationally Qualified!
Confidence is something I'm continually working on but I've come soooo far already! If you knew me a few years ago, its like night and day and fitness helped me with that!

In 2019 I had my first baby and 10 months later I found out I was pregnant again before I had even gotten my body back to where I wanted it. Having 2 kids under 2 and getting my body back has been a struggle but if I can do it, anyone can! I want all moms to know that you dont have to put yourself last. You can be a mom and still work on your goals and still work on yourself (and its great for your mental health to do so). It hasn't been easy but with some dedication and determination, anything is possible!!


Now
After competing for a couple years I have decided to live a more balanced, healthy lifestyle. I believe in looking good, feeling good, being happy, and eating a dang cookie every once in awhile. I'm also a mom of 2 and my main goal is to set an example of a healthy lifestyle for them so that they pick up on those habits. (:
